One of Serbia’s uppermost gaming associations has given its backing to IP blocking. JAKTA represents operators, technicians and games manufacturers and is in full support of the plan, as it will strengthen the position of the country’s recently adopted gambling act. President Mirjana Acimovic is quoted by eGR as saying: “This is just the first step in implementing new gambling act and one of the measures which will make Serbian gaming environment regulate and favorable to serious internet and remote gambling providers as well as land-based operators.”
